A motion was made to accept them as presented, the motion was seconded, vote passed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report:<\/strong><ul><li>Given by Jay Smock<ul><li>Banterra Bank checking account \u2013 Previous Balance = $100.00<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Payments \u2013 To Jay Smock re: Reimbursement for his out-of-pocket payment of testing fees $16.00.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Checking Account balance: $84.00<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Funds on hand (In possession of Jay Smock) = $180.00<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Total Funds available: $184.00<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On-hand Funds:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jay will attempt to deposit the $184.00 he is in possession of into the club checking account this week, or next.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nominations of Officers for the 2024 Fiscal Year:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Elections <\/strong>to be held during the Septemer 20, 2023 meeting.<ul><li><strong>For President:<\/strong> Jay Smock (Unopposed)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>For Vice President:<\/strong> Lloyd Baker (Unopposed)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>For Secretary:<\/strong> Geoff Williams (Unopposed)<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For Treasurer;<\/strong> Ronnie Stone (Unopposed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FEMA Classes:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As Incident Command System (ICS) Classes 101, 102, 107 &amp; 108 are required as a minimum of training for authorized deployment to most incident command centers during declared disasters, including the Massac County EMC and the McCracken County EMC, several members of SIERA have voiced their desire to complete this training so as to be prepared in case of an emergency and assistance is requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>President Jay is working with the Metropolis Fire Department to come up with a beginning date for this training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training days to be determined. General consensus between the members present is leaning toward Saturday mornings after our usual breakfast. Breakfast times may have to be adjusted.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Some MFD personnel may wish to go through the training with us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Membership applications:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Calvin Esau\u2019s<\/strong> application was read before the membership<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A motion was made to accept Calvin into the association, seconded, passed unanimously.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calvin had paid his membership fee previously when he filed the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GMRS Repeater Project:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Lloyd Baker<\/strong> reported that Preston Ursini of Quad State Internet would like to have a GMRS repeater installed on a tower in Metropolis.
